My mom and I stopped in while we were in the area. She ordered an exquisite chicken dish served inside a pineapple! Their crab Rangoon, which they call crabs in a blanket, is the best I've ever had. I'm not sure how you take such a simple dish like that to a new level but they sure did! Their mango sticky rice is also a must try! Enjoy!
Everything we tried for dinner was excellent and we will definitely go back. We want to try the lunch menu also. There were a couple of service glitches or would give it 5 stars.
The food here was on point! great currys (plural of curry?), egg rolls, fried rice. We were there for lunch, with only one server, who seemed to be managing 15 tables. The service was slow but she was by herself. I thought she was very efficient. We'll be back. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.
Goldilocks would love this place because it's just right 👌👌👌
Great lunch combo and nice people
This place has really great food. Wish I had taken a picture, but it looked too delicious to not drive in. Pad Thai and pad see ew were top notch. 2-star spice level has a little kick - perfect.
We ordered 2 chicken Pad Thais. I love thai food and I've had alot over the state. This was particularly good because it had a nice mix of fresh veggies and good chicken that was chared (not pale) which gave it nice flavor. I asked for extra peanuts and they delivered on my request. They even gave us peanut sauce too. Food tasted great and a nice portion too. Highly recommend this place.
We like Thai food. We love Bangkok Thai! I wish they would start carrying Chang beer again. Their fresh rolls are the best. The eggplant and the cashew dishes ate our favorites. They use great quality jasmine rice. They also know what a real five star heat is supposed to taste like. Pen and Poom are our favorite servers. <3
They are THE best Thai place around. So serious. They really give you the bang for your buck. Don't be intimidated by the prices because the servings are huge. You could evem go for getting the 3 appetizer combo and it would feed you for a couple days! My mom and I just visited again and we both agreed that was the best food we had tasted in a long time. Get their Tom Kha... THE BEST!
I was stopping by Spokane on a long drive towards Montana and happened to stop by this restaurant. From the outside, this place doesn't look all that special. Looking at the limited parking one would think they would be a small restaurant with limited seating but they're actually quite spacious on the inside. The food arrived promptly and we didn't have to wait much. We tried the pad kee mao (I tend to like pineapples on mine, and they were happy to add them), and spring rolls. Both were delicious! Would definitely consider stopping by if I find myself in Spokane again.
I have ordered their red and yellow curry and it was delicious! Also, the best white rice I have ever had alongside their Thai tea.
Place has amazing food! It is a little pricey but the serving sizes make up for it for the most part. Definitely recommend!
Food is great. Everything I tried is been very good
They were out of mushrooms so we were unable to order the tom ka soup, which is what we came for. We ordered spring rolls and the shrimp were not deviened well, so gross!
Tom kuh was off the hizzy. I'd go back for shizzy.
The menu on google says “$17” for the crab fried rice. I ordered it over the phone for pickup, they didn’t mention a total. I got there and I was charged 31.41. I told them the price on google. I was told I had to look at the menu on their actual website. I would not have ordered a $30 fried rice, there shouldn’t be a $30 fried rice.
Best Thai in all of eastern WA!
Food is amazing! The best place in the city to get Thai food! There lunch special is probably the best overall price for food you can get!
I went with a friend and had my birthday lunch here. You can never go wrong with Thai food! It's good every single time no matter what you order. This place though is interesting. The ambiance inside is surprisingly lovely compared to it's outside. It's small but comfortable and pretty.
My very first Thai experience and I can not believe what I have been missing out on !!! I have never in my life tasted so many layers of flavors. Thai is literally flavor built on flavor built with more flavors and mercy me is it EPIC. Bangkok Thai has given me something I have never had before and I'm already hungry for more. A cultural hunger has overcome me and I am now determined to learn about all the aspects of Thai food and heritage. Thank you thank you so very much Bangkok Thai for the reason behind this incredible inspiration. *The pictures are of the lunch combo special ( I did a three dollar add on for three choices ) and dessert. *Pork Pad Thai, chicken tom kha, gang daeng. *fried banana and green tea ice cream.
Great fast service. Outstanding food at reasonable prices. Even when they are busy the staff is friendly and warm. They rate the spiciness on a 1 to 5 scale. They are serious 5 is very spicy.
Delicious but the #3 lit me up!
That was amazing!!! Super friendly, delicious food, clean restaurant!
Quality Thai food but has a small FOH staff. Your patience will be rewarded.
The food was great and 4/5 spice level was spicy enough. The decor is not as chic enough as Google led me to believe. It's no high end but not run down either. Service was quick enough and attentive to our needs.
This is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the Spokane area. We especially like their lunch option which gives you two entree choices to go with spring rolls and rice. It's a fun way to get to have a lot of flavors in a manageable size serving (although this could still be two servings).
Very good food with excellent service.
Great food but they need to hire more than one server!!! It is hard to watch the one server take care of every table and cash people out. Makes wait times longer too.
Best thai in town!
Good experience in general. Have been there twice and order a take-out once. Foods are about 4 stars, which means they are good in general. The price is about the average, most entrees are about 16 to 24 dollars. Customer service can be really good (today) or not so good (last time) depending on your server and the day you come in.
Over the top Thai food. Excellent service. But Level 3 spicy is HOT. And I love it hot. Next time, 2 for me!
Outstanding. Food from heaven 😋. This was our first time. Definitely will see you soon.
It's wonderful fast service great atmosphere. Food was beautiful and so good!!!!
One of the best Thai places in Spokane. I have been coming to this place for years and the food has always been consistent. If you want good authentic Thai food and not mass produce Thai food like other spots in Spokane this is the place to go too.
This place is awesome. Super fast curbside service (during COVID) and their portions are amazing! Highly recommended.
Got #27 Curry with chicken, 3 star (potatoes, peanuts, and onions too). Cooked well, full balanced flavor, perfect spice level for me - has a kick, but you can still taste the flavors.
Food was great, and so was the service.
Best Thai I have ever had.
Excellent food. Service was very quick and comfortable. Parking was a bit tight but that is about the only negative I might come up with. Definitely on our list for a return visit.
Pad Thai and Tom Yum was nice. Everything else we ordered was good too. It's a bit pricey but then again all thai restaurant's are.
Close to Manito Gardens. I love their curry and their coconut soup. The service is friendly and fast, atmosphere nice, and the food tastes fresh and delicious. We take people here when we go to/from the Spokane Airport. Really good Thai Food near the Gonzaga Campus.......Calamari appetizer and Fresh Rolls are musts. Every dish was fresh, delicious and tasty! Parking was also easy. Will return in the future.
Wow what a great treat! When was the large group and we all ordered our individual meals, we had enough for 3 days LOL the portions are huge, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is awesome. The pineapple chicken was I think my very favorite out of all the eight entrees I tried haha I was surprised at the spice a 2-star green curry had but it was delightful. I had the Jasmine green tea and it was so good. Didn't have room for dessert next time we will know to order so we can share haha thanks again for a great time
Pretty good selection of items
Food was amazing! Got a shrimp curry and salad rolls. The peanut sauce was the best I've ever had. The servings were very generous too. So good!
This is the place where I fell in love with curry for the first time. It will always hold a special spot in my heart. Their lunch special is also my favorite. Perfect little portions. I always end up with leftovers, which is also convenient.
I'm a curry lovin' freak, and it better make me sweat. I ordered the lunch special with red and yellow curry. Went with a heat level of 4. Bankok Thai successfully exceeded my needs. Portions were huge! Belly is full. Service is a one woman show it seems, so props to her for filling my drink and getting check and change promptly while coordinating current and incoming guests.
High-quality, skillfully prepared meals. Very nutritious, generous quantities for a modest price. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, you will be grateful for the chance to eat at Bankok Thai.
Overpriced. The phad thai serving was huge, but the Tom ka GA soup was puny. they locked the chairs at the outside tables. they could of easily opened for inside dining.
Best Thai food I’ve had, and I eat a lot of Thai food. Unfortunately I’m not in Spokane anymore so I really miss this place :(
Great lunch. Spicy level of 5 stars was also good too. Would love to see fresh salad rolls. Hard to find these in Spokane for some reason. Service was prompt and friendly.
